The panels create a protective net with a rebound effect thanks to the great flexibility of its high-quality components.
Made from multiple robust belts interwoven vertically and horizontally, as well as an ultra-resistant vinyl fabric to form a flexible net, these belts are tensioned with multiple tensioners making the side protection very resistant.
During an accident, the net therefore has the effect of cushioning the impact without causing an abrupt stop, considerably reducing damage and injuries.
Unlike metal side guards which form a solid wall-like barrier, Flexiguard-FRT guards are robust yet flexible, significantly reducing the risk of serious injury, death, and damage to the vehicles involved.*
In contrast side skirts, commonly used for fuel-saving purposes only, have no resistance to impact, offering no road protection for either people or equipment.

The galvanized steel structure has an estimated longevity of 12 years. The same steel structure can be reused on a new semi-trailer.
